RGV Photography Workshop’s own Hair and Makeup Artist, and owner of Expressions by Yve, Yvette Hinojosa, was recently crowned Mrs. Rio Grande Valley 2018. And in honor of Yvette’s recent accomplishment, the school invited her over to model for a celebratory shoot.
After hair and makeup was completed, we made a stop at Rent A Dress where Yvette selected a gown just as sassy as she is. After the school’s Advanced Class students arrived, it was decided that we would take a stroll down the street from the school to McAllen’s Food Truck Park. Being that we were shooting the lovely Mrs. Rio Grande Valley 2018, we wanted to capture the fun and essence of deep South Texas. This culture runs deep on tradition and the most delicious food you’ll find.
With all eyes on her, Yvette was such a great sport, and the final images reflect that. Please enjoy these photos from the shoot we called, “Tacos en Tacones”.
